Seat Deposit Deadline

Your individual letter of admission to your program contains the date by which you must pay your seat deposit to reserve your space in the class. Should you need an extension on this date for any reason, please email llm@wfu.edu to make the request.

Visa Documentation

Once you have paid your seat deposit, the Office of International Students and Scholars Services (iss@wfu.edu) will contact you to submit the required paperwork to process your student or visitor visa. It is imperative that you submit the required documentation as quickly as possible to ensure that there are no delays with your visa and that you are able to arrive on time for your required orientation and/or first day of classes.

Immunization Records

Records of your immunizations/vaccines/inoculations are required by the University to be submitted to the Student Health Services prior to the first day of classes. Review the information on the Health and Wellness tab of this website for more information.

Tuition Payments

Tuition and fees payments for the academic year are divided into two payments. The first payment will be due on August 1st. The second payment will be due on December 1st. Students may pay through their DEAC account via e-check from a U.S. bank account or using Flywire for international funds transfer. Students may also set up a payment plan with Student Financial Services to pay their owed tuition and fees in monthly installments. More information can be found at https://finance.wfu.edu/students-parents/sfs/payment-methods/monthly-payment-plan/

Transcript Submission

Students who did not apply to WFU Law via the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) must provide original or certified copies of their transcripts for all degrees completed prior to beginning their program. Transcripts may be mailed directly to WFU Law from the issuing institution, or may be hand delivered to the International Graduate Programs office in a sealed envelope with the issuing institutions stamp/seal/signature across the seal.

Email

After your seat deposit has been received, you will receive an email from university IT to set up your Wake Forest University username and email address. This will allow you to set up your university accounts such as your email and your student Deacon Electronic Account Center (DEAC) where you will pay your tuition and fees.  The link is this email is time-sensitive and will expire. If you failed to complete this set-up, please email help@wfu.edu to have your information resent. We will begin using your wfu.edu email account exclusively for important information starting July 15, so it is important that you are using that address by then.

WFU Identification Card

Wake Forest University requires all students to have a student ID card, called the Deacon One Card. Once you have your WFU username and password, please upload a photograph of yourself for the Deacon OneCard Office at https://wfu.law/submit-deacon-onecard-photo (log in with your WFU email address and password). The photograph will be used for your student ID card (Deacon OneCard).  Please use a color photo with a clear shot of your face. Be sure that you are the only person in the photo and that you are not wearing a hat or sunglasses.  You must complete this step by August 1st in order to receive your Deacon OneCard at orientation.
